Sew happily ever after
Any reviews? What are you thoughts? opinions? How about for third grade? Should it be used in conjunction with something else? Or stand-alone?
SFM
:bigear: I have wondered this myself. I would like to hear what others have to say.
woolybear
I asked something similar. Here is a link to that thread, which also has links to other helpful threads. http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/showthread.php?t=339045&highlight=beautiful+feet+science
Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
I used the History of Science from Beautiful feet books when my youngest son was in 4th or 5th grade. It was very enjoyable. Easy to use too. Each week had a list of things to read , notebook , and do. You could do all of them or just some of them and you can decide how much or how little detail you wanted the writing to be. There was definitions, map work, experiments, timeline and research to go along with the reading. We used it alongside our main science (SL and Apologia) so it was not a very time consuming curriculum. I enjoyed it and will be using it again when dd is in 4th or 5th.
