How do you store and protect kids magazines?

Ds reads a lot of magazines, and likes to keep them all. Then he re-reads and re-reads and re-reads them until they are destroyed and then he reads the shreds. So, I am wondering if there isn't some way to try to help him keep them organized, and to repair or prevent damage. How do you manage collections of well loved magazines?

Tape and magazine file boxes are the only things I've come up with, so :bigear:

:iagree: We use the white IKEA magazines file holders as well. We aren't too hard on our magazines, otherwise packing tape around the outer edges sounds like a good idea too.
