Hunter
How to Tutor and A Guide to American Christian Education have gotten me so excited about the genius and beauty of the Hindu-Arabic arithmetic system, but those books aren't meant to be read aloud to students. What are your favorite picture books on this topic? I found The History of Counting at my library.
thebacabunch
Not a read aloud, but we love love love The Story of One by Terry Jones. It is a documentary on netflix. It talks about the history of numbers including the arabic/Indian numbers.
