brownie
Linguisystem has a couple of products. I also found a related book on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0982154518/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER But I have little info on each of them. DS is 12. He has problem solving deficits especially with social interaction. But probably with everything...such as what do I do when I can't find something? He is very high functioning Aspergers and very bright, so I try to be careful not to spend money on stuff that would be too simple for him. When products are geared at high functioning autism rather than barely discernible aspergers, that's an issue. I would really like to see some examples of what's inside before I buy. Preferably I'd like lots of real-life scenarios to practice with. Brownie
Jennifer-72
I have used the no glamour problem solving book and cards. I also have the tasks of problem solving elementary book. They have been a great fit for ds7. I find the samples that you see from linguisystems to be very representative of the products. All the materials I have used are for language age 6-12, and my son is more in the HFA range. The tasks of problem solving adolescent would probably be one to take a closer look at. Linguisystems also has an excellent return policy.
brownie
ok missed the sample pages over on the left...duh. As usual some of this seems appropriate but some of it seems far too simple for us so for now I'm going to keep looking. Brownie
