Onceuponatime Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 So I ended up finding myself a dress that looks kind of like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/83151033/shirred-tube-dress-in-steel-grey-with 3/4 sleeves, and draped neck, but not shirred or tight, more sheath like. (the wedding is an informal evening wedding, outdoors). It is very pretty on, dh went wow! when he saw me. :-) Anyway, I've got some nice jewelry to wear with it, but I can't decide what shoes to wear. I have some pretty pewter shoes with a subdued sparkle, also the same in black, or.....I have some very sparkly (think opalescent glitterated) navy shoes. These are all flats because I can't wear heels. The grey and black have bows on the top, the glittery ones are plain. Should I go more subdued or sparkly? P.S. I have no idea what the mother of the bride is wearing, the last time I asked she still didn't have a dress and the wedding is Saturday. So, I just found something I liked at a store near here. Are you wearing silvery or pewter jewelry? If so, I would go with the pewter. If another color of jewelry, I'd choose black. Very pretty dress!
