Punchie
Does anyone have suggestions for chapter books that correspond to SOTW1? I would like to include some longer read-alouds that are enjoyable/appropriate for a 6 yr old. Thank you!

linguistmama
Classical House of Learning Literature has free lit guides to go along with SOTW. If you google the name it comes up. I can't link at the moment. :). It includes shorter picture books and chapter books.

Punchie
Thank you! I am hoping to get suggestions of books that ppl have read and enjoyed. I have seen a few on amazon, but don't know if they would be good for a 6 yr old.
Punchie
I guess as an example, I found: Maroo of the Winter Caves, and Boy of the Painted Caves Are either of these good books? Would they be alright for my 6 yr old? Which one would you choose?
Chava_Raizel
Check out my link in my signature. I scheduled literature to go with SotW 1. You can see all the books linked in the amazon store. There's a good mix of fiction, historical fiction and non-fiction. I hope it helps!
sleeplessnights
Does anyone have suggestions for chapter books that correspond to SOTW1? I would like to include some longer read-alouds that are enjoyable/appropriate for a 6 yr old. Thank you! When my kids were that age, we really liked "Boy of the Pyramids" published by Simply Charlotte Mason. It's an adventure that takes place in Ancient Egypt. Because it's written for younger elementary, the story is age-appropriate.
