songbirdie
Has anyone tried "The Learning Breakthrough Program" for dyslexia? I understand it is similar to the DORE program, but is home-based and not NEARLY as expensive. Looking for personal experience stories, and descriptions of what you did in the activities that you thought was most helpful. Thanks in advance! eoffg1
On their website they have a short video that demonstrates the activities. It is helpful where their is a difficulty with 'crossing the mid-line' and coordination between both sides of the body. The 'balance board' is also helpful if balance is a problem. Also the activities help develop 'visual tracking', and visual-motor coordination. So that if these are factors in the Dyslexia, then it will help. ShelleyW
I am curious to hear others' reviews as well. I was looking at it the other day but haven't really heard much about it. The price is very reasonable.
