Michele B
Maybe I have read the answer a million times in the last few days, but I can't quite tell.... If I have the Instructor's guide, do I also need the Poetry for beginners book, or is all the information in the workbooks?
SilverMoon
The most important books to buy are the core and the workbook. If you want the answers, get the IG, too. To help CW make more sense, the original author just wrote the core books. If you were so inclined, you could use just the core and design your own program. That's how they were designed. (Think WWE hardback instructor text.) Later on, a very loyal fan wrote the workbooks along with their IGs. Due to copyright issues the author of the IGs couldn't include the most important parts from the cores, since she didn't write the cores. The IGs do tell you which pages to read in the core for that week's concepts. I'm a big fan of the workbooks. They do a LOT of grunt work for you. Well worth it IMO.
