Looking for an order of operations worksheet...

Recommended Posts

My son wants me to print out more worksheets like the enrichment exercise he did this week in Singapore 5A. Basically, it has order of operation problems where you have to figure out where to put the parenthesis to make the equation true. Is there somewhere that has lots of these problems already made up? He keeps asking. He really enjoys doing these problems.

An example would be:

Q: 5 + 2 x 3 - 7 = 23

A: (5 + 2) x 3 - 7 = 23

Though they can be much harder than that. Just using the 4 basic operations is fine.

Oh, and I'm looking for free worksheets. ;)
