NotSoObvious
Would I be nuts to take my kids to Philadelphia the first weekend in December to do all the historical things? Will it be too cold? Would we be outside/walking a lot? It would fit best with our curriculum that weekend. :tongue_smilie:
AimeeM
We visit my FIL on the outskirts of philly every Christmas (my husband's hometown of Norristown). Barring another blizzard-like event (lol - a couple years ago; be careful, they creep up quickly there!), you should be fine. We take the kids to the battle fields and the Franklin Institute and enjoy it. Frankly, it's too cold for my blood and I would never do a daily outdoor adventure there in December, but I live in SC now and I have a different level of tolerance for cold. :D
