jenniferlee
I posted this on the other board as well, but I thought you might have a different perspective "over here". I am teaching all levels of ancients next year. I have the SOTW activity guide for my 3 younger kids and TOG for my 2 older. Do I need to get Map aids? There are maps in the activity guide right? So it would just be for the older kids. I just don't know if they need them - but for ancients it might be nice. Help me out:D Jen
Candid
Jen, a lot depends on what you want to do with geography. Map Aids is a really good resource, you get both blank outline maps and ones with the answers filled in (a God-send for a busy mom). But think about you and yours, do you see yourselves doing maps each week? If not then skip Map Aids if money is tight. Do an occasional overview salt map instead with the younger group and look at maps with the upper level students when you do discussions.
