google documents sharing question...

Recommended Posts

I'm so confused on this. Will someone help me?

I keep getting "request to share SAMPLE TRANSCRIPT" requests. They are emails asking me to share with people. Well, obviously, the fact that they know the transcript exists means they got it from TWTM or from someone from TWTM. And if that is the case, then they have the link to view it. I would be fine with people downloading it (not sure if they can). I mean, I don't think what I did was so special (all I did was take some existing things online and tweak it to what I want so it'd fit on one page (though it looks like 3 pages on Google).

Anyway, so when I click share settings, it looks like my options are to let people view, comment or edit. I wouldn't mind if people edited their own copies, of course. But I don't want them editing the sample so that what other people see is their version rather than mine.

So...so what do I wanna do when people request "sharing"?
