Greta
We've done Logic Safari and Perplexors, which are great, but both have basically the same type of problem repeated over and over, progressing in difficulty level. Can someone recommend a book with a number of different types of problems? It doesn't have to be something that's considered formal curriculum, just a good puzzle book would be fine (I was even thinking of throwing in a few sudoku puzzles). Or a number of different types of books. I was intrigued by something I read about Tin Man Press, but those books seem geared towards younger kids. My dd will be 13yo/7th soon. Is there anything like that for older kids and adults?
carol p
Hi! My kids really enjoy Balance Benders. They are great for logic and Alebraic problem solving. Carol

Miss Tick
I wonder if Games magazine would suit you. I've run across references in various places It seems like the photographer for the I Spy books might have worked for them? And maybe Will Shorts? We have a copy of the Games Magazine Junior puzzle book that gets read through once in a while. You might want to check it out, I've never seen an actual copy of the magazine, but maybe a local newsstand would have one.

That sounds perfect, because it would have such an assortment of different puzzles. I've never heard of it before, but we do have a local bookstore with quite an extensive selection of periodicals, so I'll see if they carry it. Thank you!
