Element
I have already been asked: Who was Genghis Khan? How is China geographically subdivided? Why was the Roman empire non-contiguous? What are the provinces of Canada? Why does Alaska belong to America and not Canada? How much does a semi weigh? Why doesn't everyone use the metric system? I am not even kidding. At least I know we would be successful unschoolers if it ever came to that. :D Luckily, this is only a two-week break and then we will jump back in to a light summer schedule. thescrappyhomeschooler
Ah, that's when those Usborne or Kingfisher History and Science Encyclopedias come in handy! I tell my kids to go look it up. Or, sometimes, I let them use the computer to look the stuff up online. Enjoy your break.
