Iamblessed
So, My soon to be 3rd grader asked me to get him Bible curriculum for school. I usually don't do separate Bible time with workbooks but have devotion time all together. Anyway, he likes book work and I'm not sure which would be more interesting for him- lifepacs or paces? Anyone used these? :001_smile:
sarahv
Then the workbook is just fill in the blank according to the reading for the day. It has quizzes and tests on the material with a few activity pages thrown in. It's nice and simple, and straight Bible, which I like. It's great reading practice because it's out of the KJV. Before a passage begins, it goes over the newer, more complicated words and defines them for the student. I don't have any input on the lifepacs because I've never seen them. I use the Bible PACEs for reading practice. My kids like them, I think because they are the real Bible, not watered-down readers. Anyway. HTH. :001_smile:
raceNzanesmom
They're both KJV. I haven't used that level, but from my experience with the upper grades I'd go with ACE. I'd look at CLE too.
