NotSoObvious
Would you mind looking at my 5th grade plan and let me know if I am missing anything? Do you have any recommendations? Grammar- FLL 4 Writing- WWE 4 (dd1), WWS (dd2) Reading- WTM style Spelling- AAS (finish with dd1), Megawords (dd2) Math- CLE 500s, Hands on Equations (to be started over the summer), Dreambox Typing- continue with TTL4 History- SOTW 3, supplemental reading, lots of field trips (anything I am missing here???) Science- outsourced- I gave up Latin- Latin Prep 1 *I am not certain I need a separate vocab program between all the reading my girls do, SWB's vocab rich resources, and Megawords. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Crimson Wife
One thing you might want to look into is Figuratively Speaking to teach literary terms. A good pace to go through it with a 5th grader is one lesson per week.

rwjx2khsmj
We start adding basic outlining with our history starting in fifth grade. I use the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia for this.
