Does Runkles get into geology? What hands on activities are there?

If you are wanting a rocks & minerals course, this wouldn't be it. The title, World Physical Geography, is pretty close to what is covered. There will be sections on plate shifts, mountain formation, the water cycle, a very little bit on planets, etc., but not much of what I would typically call "geology". What, specifically, are you looking for?

I would love to find a "Hands-On" and very good Geology Course for my 8th grader.

I had to mesh so many things to get what I wanted for "Weather", I would hope to find something very stimulating for Geology.

thanks!

Here is something that interests me:

Northwest Treasures

I saw them at our State Convention. I wanted to purchase everything!

Search around the site. There is lots of neat things there.

Something else I am considering: Media Angels Creation Geology. There is a activity Pack, and a coloring book to go along with it.

And of course "I" just had to get a lapbook on Geology, though it is still in my "to do" pile. :)
