Misty
I accidentally came across this while searching for something else.. http://www.phxautism.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/GPC12-Schedule_V8.pdf So I got curious and decided to do a search.. and I found this.. http://www.autismspot.com/blog/Temple-Grandin-Gluten-Free So it looks like Temple is embracing gluten and possibly casein free.. I'm not sure if she is 100% gluten free, but it sounds like she's getting there.. I thought this was interesting so thought I would pass it on. :D

Guest
In her book The Way I See It, she mentions that the diets can help some children and adults with ASD and have no effect on others. She also mentions that neither the GFCF diet nor the SCD have had a positive effect on her anxiety. She has put together her own diet that she follows. She also has a problem with yeast as I recall. She mentions that a diet full of low-fat carbs made her yeast worse so she eats lots of animal protein and salads. She adds some rice to her meals. It sounds like she is gluten free for the most part but not completely casein free. She mentions that she likes sweets and will eat things like full fat ice cream in small amounts. My edition was updated in 2011 and she seems to be very meticulous about making changes to information that has changed. That's all I know :).
