I have been very hands off since we began Homesat 3 yrs ao so idk anything about this course. Our HSGroup is offering Apologia General Science next year thru their co-op with certified teachers amd they will do the labs. My ds w/b 7th grade and has done fab w/BJU Science text, workbooks and tests! However, i dont require him to do the projects. I'm thinking he would benefit from doing labs with a group etc. Any thoughts? We are taking IEW at co-op as well so this would not be the only class opportunity. Lizzie in Ma Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 While I think that the Life Science from BJU is the best of all their science that we have done, you can't beat a lab situation with other students and a live (competent) teacher.
