mombygrace
We just started using thinkwell geometry and would like to break them down into daily lessons. How do we know how much to cover each day to be on target? There are 13 chapters each with sub chapters. Thanks
MyThreeSons
We just started using thinkwell geometry and would like to break them down into daily lessons. How do we know how much to cover each day to be on target? There are 13 chapters each with sub chapters. Thanks The standard method is to start with the number of school days you will have. Subtract from that the number of tests you will give -- usually one per chapter. Then divide that number by the number of lessons you want to cover. I don't have Thinkwell, so I don't know if there any lessons that might be considered optional. You will then know the average number of lessons you need to cover per day. If it's more than one, then you will need to figure out if you want to do, say two lessons on each of a couple of days per week, and one on the other days. Actually, I just found this plan on their website: http://www.thinkwellhomeschool.com/pdfs/lesson-plans/GeometryLessonPlan1.pdf HTH Edited April 13, 2012 by MyThreeSons addition
