jessicamcc
I'm not sure which to choose. My youngest knows all of his letters and their sounds. He only knows a couple of words- the, no, at, cat, etc. Should he start on Level 1 or Prelevel 1? I know a lot of you have used this program and might be able to help me. Thank you! nukeswife
If he knows all his letters and sounds, and you feel he's ready to start blending them together into words I'd go for Level 1. You can always take it slow. Pre-1 would be a lot of review for a child that knows all their sounds. I did it anyway because level 1 wasn't available but it also helped a lot with my son's motor skills because of the coloring/activity pages. KristenR
Here is a checklist that you can use to determine if your child needs the pre-level or not.
SnMomof7
I agree with level 1 unless your child needs more work with phonemic awareness (starting sounds, rhyming, etc.) but if blending is established, you're probably good to go with level 1! jessicamcc
The checklist was very helpful! All of you advise going into Level 1 and I think that is the way I should go. THANK YOU!:001_smile:
