Mandy in TN
There is. Essentials of the English Language was written for use in the Classical Conversations Essentials program, but you can only purchase it new if you are a current member of an Essentials community. If you purchase a used copy, be sure to buy the 4th edition. The changes from the 3rd to the 4th edition make it much easier to use. Hunter
Why can't just anyone buy the manual?
Mandy in TN
Actually, the sample of EEL contains the grammar charts. They are on pages 125-158 of the sample. HTH- Mandy

Bayt ul-Hikmah
Check the sample starting at page 398. HTH!
Hunter
This looks good. It looks to have a lot of overlap with Spalding's rather vague instructions for grammar and sentences in their integrated language arts. A lot of the "The Core" appeals to me, but actually finding the materials to do Bortin's idea of "simple" never seems to be simple. Sigh!
