Denise in Florida Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 I am helping a friend who has pulled her 5th grade dd out of school The girl is sweet and will do what I ask her to but she really does not seem interested in anything! Yesterday she said that she had liked when her science class studied the human body. Does anyone have a link for some lesson plans? It would be extra wonderful if the plans are inter-disciplinary and have some math or language arts involved. higginszoo Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 I really liked Guest Hollow's plans ... I'm about to pull them out to use again with my almost 6th and 2nd/3rd graders. I believe that I've seen Jenn post around here sometimes -- her plans are somewhat literature-based, using books that are usually easy to find in homeschooling circles. I have started her looking around on BrianPop and we will start adding in some writing activities. Those linked lesson plans look good and I will take some more time this weekend to explore.
