Kathryn
If youbuy the supplements (Map Aids, Evaluations, etc.) as standalones, are the files LockLizard, or normal PDFs?

Kathryn
Thank you,. So that means you have to have an Internet connection for it to verify each time you open a file?
1bassoon
Hm. You've stumped me! I don't pay attention :D I know that sometimes, I do have to have an internet connection. But then others, it just opens - maybe it has something to do with if I've already opened it that day????? That's a question for their tech support, methinks. I'll be interested in the answer! Kathryn
When I was talking to Marcia at the conference this weekend, I asked about traveling and taking the laptop with us to do school (I was asking in relation to getting a network license, if it would work on another network connection). She said that as long as we had an Internet connection so it could verify the license, the files would open. So,I assumed that meant that each time you open a LockLizard file, it goes online to check authorization.
sahm99
I am not so sure... The way it seems to me is that once the file is downloaded (through Locklizard) you wouldn't need an internet connection to open it again. I am almost 100% certain... You should call/e-mail Ray at TOG (computer guru), he'll get back to you fast.
