joyfulhomeschooler
We'll be using Bigger nex year with a 4th & 2nd grader. I would like to give IEW level A a try with my older Would this be easy to do?
abrightmom
Yes. Bigger doesn't have any direct writing instruction other than what is contained in Rod & Staff English. I don't think it's adequate for a 9 year old and I think IEW SWI A would be AWESOME alongside it. I WISH we'd done that this year. I considered it and didn't follow through..... Go for it. IEW has a great return policy so you can try it and return if it you end up disliking it.
joyfulhomeschooler
"Like" ;) this is what I was hoping to hear. It seems preparing has much more writing instruction than bigger just from my quick glancing I've done. Do you find that to be true?
