tristangrace
Why, yes, I am too lazy and uncreative to generate my own ideas. And I'm not too proud to mooch YOUR ideas, should you be so kind as to share them. The 18yo graduate in question is my nephew. Salient features: likes skateboarding, college-bound in the fall, interested in studying physics.
southcarolinamom
Most grads LOVE receiving cash. They save it up to buy their laptops for college! Cold, hard cash. :D Or maybe a Starbucks gift card, a gas card if your nephew is driving to and from school, a gift card to Amazon to buy textbooks, etc.
eternalknot
My little sister recently went off to college. Cash was much appreciated, as were gift cards to places like Target, IKEA, grocery stores, gas stations, and Starbucks. She spent one year at the dorm, and this year is in an apartment. Even with the best of planning there was always things she was missing - things you take for granted at "home" (one time it was a stapler, another time a mop LOL). We gave it in a lunchbox-type cooler, and he loved it!
