TX Pilgrim Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 I am wondering if anyone has used the series of books by Jacob Abbott or Alfred John Church for history. There are many available on google books which has just developed their Android app. which means I don't have to print it all off - yeah! What age did you use this with? Are they suitable read alouds for younger kids? How did you use them with your children -were they extra read alouds, did you read them around the same time as that era in SOTW or another spine, did you use them as a special study, etc.?
