Tokyomarie
So good to hear that! I keep forgetting about the Keys to... series when people talk about math. My middle daughter struggled with math concepts, in large part because of the language demands of most standard textbooks. When I tried to move her into a textbook Algebra I curriculum she floundered. I then took her through Hands On Equations, followed by Key to Algebra. She thrived with that combo because of fewer language demands. Later, she was able to go directly into Teaching Textbooks Algebra II and do well.
