The step-by-step is really helping him. This week's lesson was to write a descriptive paragraph. Here is what he came up with (the words are all his; I helped him with some of the punctuation): I once went on a field trip to a farm. A farm is a big place with lots of animals. It is noisy there, too, with loud tractors and animals. It also stinks like a skunk where the cows are milked. A word of advice, plug your nose if your field trip is to a farm.
