Melissa in St Louis
Does anyone have any favorite resources for getting started growing veggies (and grapes) in containers? What are your favorite books or websites? Thanks so much! :)
G5052
It is a book, a DVD, and a website. Hands-down, the best ever way to garden on a small scale. DH is disabled and does planning, training, and weeding. The kids and I haul the supplies and water during the week.

lineinthesand9
Just a little FYI blurb...a few years ago, we asked our local greenhouse owner (small business) and gardening-guru, Stanley, about a good tomato variety to grow. His was reply was Mountain Fresh (or Mountain Spring) tomatoes. We grew them, loved them, and stuck with them ever since. We are located about 1 1/2 hours away from you, and they do very well here -- in pots or in ground. No cores, so every bit is usable! Just a handy tip for you.:001_smile:
