Stirsmommy
I am looking at Oak Meadow for science and for perhaps a civics course for my high schooler. Has anyone done this?
kewb
My 8th grader is doing the civics course this year along with their 8th grade science. He is really enjoying both. I have found the civics course to be thorough and my ds has really had to think about his answers. He is enjoying their product so much that next year for 9th grade I will be using Oak Meadow for Science, US History, and English.
Stirsmommy
Thanks for the review. Do you use just the curriculum or do you go with them doing it all? thanks
kewb
I just use the curriculum. Every now and again I think about enrolling my oldest for high school so that he is accountable to someone else but I realize that he will be getting that through his spanish course and he currently gets it from his philosophy facilitator so it is not a foreign concept to him. Plus, it is a bit cost prohibitive for me to enroll him with teacher support.
