Perogi
With the Mr Q sale coming up I'm trying to decide on science for next year. We are working through Mr Q Life Science right now (slowly) and I've attempted SL twice in the past without ever fully implementing it. I like how self-contained Mr Q is because I find it easier to implement. Otoh, I like the books in SL. Opinions? How do you think they compare in scope and sequence, content, rigour, etc.? ErinD
We tried both, with two different children, and Mr. Q, for our family, worked much better. So did TOPS, actually. SL was a little...bland, for our taste.
Xilka
I just started with Mr. Q science, and my 9yo son really likes it. We haven't bought anything, just using the free life science he offers on his site. I have run into some misspelled words and not the greatest grammar. But, on the whole, we like it.
