SJ.
Today I am making use of the frozen chicken bones and carcasses I have been storing in my freezer (yuck that sounds gross!) by making chicken broth. I have used this recipe a couple times and have had fantastic results and it is SUPER easy. It is located here: http://www.food.com/recipe/kittencals-best-chicken-stock-broth-crock-pot-option-118258 Pssst - there is even a crockpot option! QuirkyKidAcademy
You had me at "crockpot"!
jenangelcat
All I do is pop a carcass and an onion (with skin) into an enormous pot and keep it going for at least 12 hours (keep adding water). The longer you cook it the better it gets. I don't skim the fat.
