Quiver0f10
I see they have a basic math, then pre-alg on up. Would you use basic in 7th, pre-alg in 8th? Then what for the remaining 9-12? Thanks!
CAMom
For my now 10th grader: We did pre-alg in 7th Alg. 1 in 8th Geometry in 9th We're trying to complete Alg 2 and Trig for 10th (my ds is working on Alg 2 through the summer). Pre calc 11th Calculus 12th My dd (who will be in 7th this year) pre-alg in 8th Alg 1 in 9th Geometry in 10th Alg. 2 in 11th That will probably be it for her. She's just not math inclined like her brother.;) :)
Quiver0f10
Thanks. I think my DD will follow your DD who is in 7th's path. She isn't really math-y either.
SwimmerMom
Just FYI, it is taking my not-very-mathy dd two years to finish up Pre-Algebra from Chalk Dust. There is a LOT of material to master in that curriculum. Here is how we are planning to do it: 7th & 8th: Pre-Algebra 9th: Alg I 10th: Geometry 11th: Alg 2 12th: Trig
