kbpaulie
k12 is a curriculum that is avail for private purchase or through state charter schools. MO does not have a state run charter school that uses the k12 curric. http://www.k12.com/participating-schools/missouri
BlueTaelon
Its a real program but its not available in MO, MO is well, backwards in a lot of things (no offense to those who live in MO) and education is one of them. Because of the ways the laws are written the only charter schools allowed in MO are to those who live in St Louis or KC which is ridiculous! So if you want to use K12 you have to pay for it yourself. MO is one of the places we were looking at and between the lack of high speed internet (the areas we were looking at thought 1.5mb was high speed, umm no, 45mb is!) and charter school options we opted not to go to MO. You can get involved and learn more at http://www.mocharterschools.org if we did move to MO you can bet your behind I'd be demanding charter school access. I went to those schools and my child won't!
