I did not see a difference. Maybe someone with more experience will both will share. So far, I have not seen anything that makes it worth the awful pictures in the standards text. Crimson Wife Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 I've used both. U.S. edition for 3A/B, and SE for 4A-5A. The SE edition is FAR more detailed and helpful. Maybe if the parent is "mathy" and intuitively understands the Singapore way of teaching, then the amount of explanation and "handholding" in the SE HIG might seem overkill. But that is SOOOOOO not me! :tongue_smilie: I prefer the visually "cleaner" look of the U.S. edition but I'll put up with the busy textbook in order to get the more useful HIG.
