Melissa B
Is a Florida student that chooses to graduate high school with an A.A. eligible for National Merit scholarships or Bright Futures scholarships? I've tried reading over the websites and I don't see anything stating the student would be ineligible, but all of the wording on both sites implies four years of future undergraduate work. Could anyone give me some btdt information? :)
FloridaLisa
I know many Florida homeschooled-through-highschool students that have earned their AA at high school graduation and been award BF scholarships. Also, there is a new BF option available for the first time for homeschoolers that allows students to use a lower SAT/ACT score combined with a GPA from the core 16 classes to qualify for the lower BF award. This info should be available on the site. HTH, Lisa
Myeightkiddies
Students with an AA will have no problem getting the BF Scholarship, as long as the other requirements are met.
Melissa B
Thanks. I'm glad to know that the BF scholarship is available. For us, that is the more important of the two. :)
