KJB
Does something like this exist? Gamers or spouses of game people, are "they" working on anything like this or have you ever heard of anything like this? I had a long visit with a foreign language teacher recently who has begun using a Smart Board in her classroom. She was discussing how cool it would be if an interactive game could be created to simulate an immersion experience. In her vision, the student could become a character in the game and speak to and receive responses and feedback from another native speaking character in the game. The whole idea reminds me of the Star Trek "Hologram generator" thing. If we can ski, swim, and play tennis, why can't we visit another country and speak to the locals? Anyone ever see anything like this?
lmrich
Not what you are looking for but some games can be changes to Spanish. I thought it would be a fun April Fool's prank if the kids played the wii a lot.
