T'smom Posted November 5, 2011 Share Posted November 5, 2011 Dh has been very stingy with his vacation days and now he has a week's worth that have to be used by Jan. 1... any ideas of something not terribly expensive? Kalahari is good - and you can do a jaunt to Baraboo for Circus World, maybe also old World Wisconsin. Or do Chicago area - http://www.cantigny.org/ can take most of a day, then there are the museums downtown, Brookfield Zoo http://www.czs.org/czs/Brookfield/Zoo-Home. After Thanksgiving downtown Chicago will be all decorated for the holidays and fun to walk around.
