Chris in CA Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 my dd is a rising 8th grader here is her schedule which is very similar to 7th, with a couple of additions 8:30-9:00 - bible discussion (she reads on her own time) 9:00-9:30-memory & dictation of poetry/bible 4x & Fallacy Detective 1x 9:30-10:00-Elementary Greek (2nd half) 10:00-10:30-break 10:30-11:30 - Rod & Staff Math 8 11:30-12:30-Analytical Grammar 3rd session 10 weeks/Lightning Lit 8 26 weeks 12:30-1:00-reading 1:00-2:00 - Jump In writing (2nd half)/Vocabulary Cartoons (2nd half) 2:00-3:00- BJU Life Science 3:00-3:30-History activity 3x (Timeline,mapping,discussion) with Guerber and Truthquest /Art 2x - drawing and appreciation She reads history and literature on her own time She blades 3x a week and surfs 3x for P.E.
