laughing lioness
Have you looked at Memoria Press' guide for Famous Men of Modern Times? My review here.
Momling
My 4th grader and her 5th grade friend are reading from the Medieval and Early Modern World (OUP) series this year combined with historical fiction, some documentaries and movies and the Medieval History Portfolio. We'll do the Renaissance History Portfolio after that (starting in mid-spring). It's working very nicely.
kwg
No! I have not looked into Famous Men and will do so. Can't believe I forgot that one. I did the Greece and Rome books years ago as a read aloud and he loved them. Momling, that series looks interesting. A nearby library has them but not mine :glare: so I can get it but it would take some doing....is this the history portfolio? It looks cool! Did you get the bundle? Or just the student pages? Thanks!
