TraciWA
There is a chance we may be going to Whistler, BC in the spring. Anyone gone there at that time of the year. What should we expect and what to do with a family of six on a budget? I understand it to be an expensive place.

"Spring" is a pretty broad time frame ~ anything from late March to early June ~ and you didn't mention where you'll be staying. Skiing & boarding are possible at Whistler Blackcomb year 'round, but it sounds like your family isn't into that...? In which case you could snowshoe or use the tube park. But the somewhat less expensive activities such as hiking of course won't be possible yet. If money is tight and you all have to go, you're best bet is to just enjoy the snow & scenery and opt out of anything formal/organized. TraciWA
Thanks. Think we might be going in later May. My IL have a vacation condo they are giving us the use of, so that help with the accommodations and food we can trek across the boarder and cook in our room. Tubing sounds like fun! Guest IdahoMtnMom
Whistler is rather like where I live in... totally hit and miss in the weather department. You might find it rainy, snowy, or sunny.... it could be a hot sunny or a cold sunny. It could be cloudy or windy.... you won't know until a week or two before you go!!! And what there is to do is 100% dependant on the weather!!!!
