Joanne Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 My youngest son's team party was organized and planned tonight by Team Mom Assistant. I organized and planned my oldest son's team party. For tonight as well. They are at different establishments. My DH will go with my youngest as he Coached that team this year. I'll take my oldest to his - I'm the team mom. Call me names, throw tomatoes, whatever. But I frankly think 13+ year olds are too old for "participation" trophies, cake, parties. Not to mention the budget issues involved for both boys for the evening. But, I'll put on my happy face and since they are having a party and we are going, I'll enjoy. Your kids play baseball - right? Mine do. We're only half-way done with the season! And, then there's the tournament teams and all star games to attend!!! Enjoy your steak!!!
