Friederike in Persia
We've been travelling for the last 5 months and have just started schooling up again:001_huh:. Getting all the history books out it turns out that apart from the core book we're well stocked on the Romans, have a few novels on the Egyptians, but nothing else. Could you please suggest novels that would bring the ancients to life for my dds (both reasonably advanced readers). Thanks a lot,

Amira
I don't have any suggestions, but I just wanted to say "Hi" from Kyrgyzstan. It's nice to see you here again.
MamaT
I'll add a couple: The Children's Homer and Jason and the Golden Fleece, both by Padric Colum. A good place to look is The Baldwin Project. A lot of their books can be read online and some are in print and sold by Yesterday's Classics.
