MtnMama Posted September 3, 2011 Share Posted September 3, 2011 I'm new here and wanted to say hello! My name is Liz and I live in NC. I am married with 2 kids (DS5 and DD1). After much deliberation, we sent DS off to PS K this year. The jury is still out on how well that is working out. For now we are afterschooling but may be full-time homeschoolers in the future. I home schooled two years with my DD and she is now in ps 1st grade. It was just easier after my youngest came along. Right now we are just doing reading and lots of science experiments. JenniferLynn Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Hi & welcome! My DD5 just started K and we will be after schooling too. We have been the past year while she was in preschool. We took 2 weeks off for the start of public school and having family in town, so tomorrow will be our first official day of after schooling during the PS calendar. Good luck!
