JudyJudyJudy
Ds will be in 7th grade when we start school again after Labor Day. I was originally going to let him use online maps, but he wants a book. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Dina in Oklahoma
After checking several, we selected The Children's World Atlas by Barnes and Noble. :001_smile:
didadeewiththree
I picked up national Geographic's Family Reference Atlas of the World, 2nd edition for $7 on ebay. Its not the newest edition, which runs for $65 retail, but its close enough for me, not too much has changed since 2006 other than a population increase. I love the illustrations and have found myself and my son "just reading the atlas for fun," which seems like an odd thing to do for fun. dee67p
Goode's World Atlas. College freshmen are required to have it for geographical classes.

Candid
I'd take him to the book store and look at the reference Atlases they have available. An atlas has elements that can be very personal in terms of what a user likes or dislikes.
