Dmmetler Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I got to teach a co-op class of about 20 5-10 yr olds basic recorder notes, then orchestrating it with various small percussion. I love teaching my little guys and my small groups/private lessons, but I'd forgotten just how much of a rush it is to teach a big group and be able to layer the different sounds, and see the kids faces as they realize that they're making music together and that they CAN do this!! And it was even more fun to hear the kids choosing to continue to play and practice during the "go outside and run around" time that usually follows co-op. Wow!
