We've been working with Breaking the Barrier French Level 1 this year. In my (admittedly dim) memories of French 1, I do not remember all the in-depth grammar that is being presented. I researched online for syllabi of French 1 and 2 classes, both high school level and college, and many seemed to only broach some of the grammar points that are in BTB 1 in their own French 1 courses, and save the rest for French 2. So I am thinking about giving 2 credits for having completed BTB 1. Anyone familiar with the curriculum and also with the "typical" French 1 class that could give me some input?
