The program was easy for her to follow and she's got her uppercase letters down pat...however... when she spells words she does it in all capitals!!! We've been working on lowercase currently. It's been a lot slower for her to learn... is that normal???:001_huh: I want to start to teach ds and am trying to figure out whether to start with uppercase like HWT suggests or use another program that starts with lowercase. I guess I'm rambling in the hopes that someone can give me some useful advice:tongue_smilie:Do all kids start out learning uppercase first or is that just a HWT thing??? We write words properly after that (upper where appropriate, lower when appropriate). I'm not a fan of teaching them all uppercase first. But then again I can't stand HWT LOL.
