Liza Q
My daughter needs to take a 1 semester Economics class next year, and I would like her to take a 1 semester Consumer Math class as well. So, I am wondering - should I have her take Eco in the fall and the math in the spring, or should we start with the math and then finish with Eco, or should I treat it like one class and mix up the assignments and readings a bit? And, if anyone has any recommendations for a Consumer Math text that would work well as a 1 semester course, please let me know! Thanks! asta
Have her take the consumer math class in the fall and the econ class in the spring. Contrary to popular thought, econ is more behavioral thought than mathematics, but there are a lot of graphs involved, and consumer math/business math usually addresses these. asta (who was an economist in a former life)
